Max RAM officially is 2X1G = 2G total.

It may or may not be possible to run more.

You are correct about the memory addressing in Windows.

Running a single 2G (if it works) vs. 2X1G will cost you 10-15% in performance, since the system is designed to operate in dual channel mode.

I tried two 2gig Crucial pc2-4200 Sodimms and it just booted up with 2gb and totally ignored the other two at the bios level.
