E6430 multitouch gestures
Hi all
I have a problem, suddenly, a few mutlitouch gestures just stopped working. I can scroll with two fingers, but i cannot swipe forward or backward with a three finger swipe, in the browser or anywehere. I didn't change anything, i reinstalled the driver, I have all the latest updates and BIOS. Btw i have windows 8.1
What's the solution?

Hi,
I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the touchpad on the system. Please follow the steps mentioned below to uninstall the touchpad.
After the uninstall finishes restart the system. Please enter your service tag # on the link below, select the OS, Then download the BIOS and Touchpad driver from BIOS section and ‘Mouse, Keyboard & Input Devices’ section onto the system and install it.

Please let me know if this helps.

It didn't work. I unistalled the driver, updated the bios, reinstalled the driver. Two finger scrolling works, but three finger gestures still don't work.

Hi,
Dell Latitude E6430 comes with only with following gesture modes.
Single-Touch Gestures
Vertical and Horizontal Scroll - Allows you to scroll up or down by moving your finger along the vertical and horizontal zone (at the extreme right) on the touchpad.
Single-finger zoom - Allows you to zoom in or zoom out of an active window by moving your finger upward or downward on the zoom zone (at the extreme left) on the touchpad.
Multi-Touch Gestures
Pan - Move two fingers in the desired direction to pan-scroll the selected object.
Auto-Scroll Vertical - Rapidly move two fingers up or down to activate vertical auto-scrolling.
Auto-Scroll Horizontal - Rapidly move fingers to your left or right to activate horizontal auto-scrolling.
Zoom - Allows you to increase or decrease the magnification of the screen content/object. Moving two fingers apart on the touchpad zooms in on the active window and moving two fingers closer together on the touchpad zooms out on the active window.
Privacy Mode - Keep prying eyes off your screen by briefly holding your hand in place anywhere on the touchpad.
