E6510 Max Resolution

Greetings..

I have an E6510 with Intel HD Graphics, Video BIOS version 2080.26, installed with driver version 6.14.10.5408.  The current max resolution being shown as available is 1366x768.  I have an application that only runs at 1440x900, so the app can't be properly viewed, as there is no scroll within the app.  Is there any way to increase that resolution above 1366x768 via different driver or bios update?

Thanks,

 Rick

Hi Rick,

The resolution would depend up on the type of LCD on the computer:

If the computer was shipped with HD LED screen then the maximum resolution would be 1366x768.

Below picture would help you with the resolution on 3 different types of LCD:

Awaiting your response!

You'd need an external monitor - your display panel is not capable of higher resolution.

Thank you both for your answers.  This is what I thought, however I needed to confirm it was a limitation of the device.  I will go back to the software vendor and pass this on to them so they can rewrite the package with a resolution that our laptops can display properly.

Thanks again, both marked as answers.
