E6510 problem reboot and bios update problem

Question

I have a E6510 notebook . I have a problem to update the bios . Because the notebook has a problem in the POST phase . In fact, if I access the cold pc post BIOS is slow but it works . Instead reboot ( control-alt-delete ) hangs with a flashing light. No other problems . I wanted to try to update the bios from A5 to A9 . but the update is a -executable file that performs the first phase but remains stuck in the reboot . P.S. I do not know other ways of updating and still can not seem to extract the bios files from executable GRazie

Not work because reboot ( control-alt-delete or auto reboot in second step upgrade bios ) hangs with a flashing light... :(

Remove the hard drive.  Will that allow you to get into system setup?
