E6520 Problem with batteries
I have 3 batteries
primary battery (9 Cell 97 Wh)
battery slice (9 Cell 97 Wh)
modbay battery (3 Cell 30 Wh)
when I turn on my laptop battery slice uncharged first
but when battery slice uncharged full my laptop turn off however other 2 batteries full charge
I thought 3 batteries make my laptop working long time but it is not
I can't use all 3 batteries together only 2 and when they uncharged full connect 3rd
it is uncomfortable
what I have to do that change it

I am sorry for the delay in responding to you.
I would like for you to test again with all three batteries. Right before the Slice battery is drained I would like for you to reboot the system into the BIOS. Tap the f2 key when rebooting to enter the BIOS. Then I would like to see if the BIOS sees the Slice battery and what power levels it shows for all three batteries.
I would like for you to run the system with the battery slice removed. When running this way what battery is drained first and does it switch from that battery to the other battery?
I would like for you to update the BIOS to the latest version of the BIOS is A13

1. Please note that if the A05 or after A05 BIOS and before A08 is currently installed on your system
you must first update to A08 BIOS and then flash to the latest A-rev BIOS.
2. Please note that if the A04 or before A04 BIOS is currently installed on your system,
you must first update to A05 BIOS and then flash to the latest A-rev BIOS.
Test with the battery Slice and see if the same problem occurs.
Please reply back with what you find out. We may need to set up a service for this, but I wan't to make sure that a service will actually help before setting one up.
Thanks
TB

Hello Mr Terry B, I have latitude e6520 bios revision A06. My laptop just started giving me battery not detected, later, it wrote, PLUGGED IN NOT CHARGING. but now again, NO BATTERY IS DETECTED. Also, keys T G B has stopped working and the problem has developed to many other keys like RFV, I, SPACEBAR, ALT KEYS is pressing down. And other keys too. What can cause the abnormal operations in my laptop
