E7240 on E/Dock flashing cursor
Hi, I have 2 new E7420 laptops that are replacing some older ones.
When I dock either of them, all I get is a flashing cursor on either the external screens, or the laptop screen. I get the Dell logo, then just a flashing cursor on the top left of the screen.
I can turn the laptop on, wait for it to boot, then dock it, but of the 3 times I've tried that, the USB didnt work once.
Have just upgraded to the latest BIOS, but it didnt change anything.
Is there some BIOS setting or something I need to change?
Thanks,
Nathan

Worked out it was a USB device (dictaphone) that was plugged into the dock.
Unplugging it caused normal boot. Not too sure whats different on the new laptop, but will have to try and work around this.
Thanks,
Nathan
