e7250 Hard Drive Support
I'm looking to upgrade an e7250 with a 1TB hard drive. However, I can't find any documentation stating the laptop can support such a large drive. On the spec sheet it states up to 512MB drive. I've checked the details of all of the BIOS upgrades (Currently up to A15), and they make no mention of larger drive support.
So, my questions are, can the laptop support the drive and does anyone have a currently working e7250 with a drive larger than 500GB? I'd like to know it actually works before I put down the cash on one.

There is no space in the system for a 2.5" drive -- it will take only card-format SSDs, and ONLY in mSATA format (not the newer M.2, also called NGFF).
Yes, you can use a 1T SSD -- such as

Thanks for the response. Do you have a working model with a larger drive in it? Like I said, I'd hate to shell out the money only to find it won't boot or it will only see 512GB of the drive. I'd feel much more comfortable if Dell had documentation confirming the higher drive support.

There is documentation out there for people who've done the 1T upgrade.
