Error code 0F00: 1336
I have a Inspiron N5010 and it is freezing up on the home screen. I ran the diagnostics and it gave me the error code 0F00: 1336, and I can not figure out anything about this code. I have attempted to hit F8 and repair my computer but it freezes up on this screen also. Any help would be great. Thanks

Hello Cpevahouse,
Error Code 0F00: 1336 means Formatter Device Error. However in order to isolate the cause of failure, please help me understand if you have run the Pre-Boot System Assessment (PSA / ePSA) Diagnostics. If not, please run the test and check if gives any error code. Note down the error code and update me with the same, would let you know the next course of action.
I would also request you to check if the system freezes in Safe Mode. To enter Safe Mode, restart the computer. Keep tapping F8 at the Dell Logo Screen. Once the computer enters Advanced Boot Option, select Safe Mode. Press Enter.
Please try the steps and write back with results.

I can not remember if I ran that test on it yesterday or not, but I will try to do it again on Sunday. Also, the computer freezes in safe mode. Thanks

Hello Cpevahouse,
Computer freezing in Safe Mode, indicates hardware failure. However, I would definitely wait for the results.

First: Remove the hard drive, mount it externally and make a backup of what you can still read.
The drive is failing - once the backup is made, replace the drive and then do a full system reload.

Hi, i have the same issue. error code: 0f00:1336.
Computer freezing in all safe mode, I´ve run the epsa and gave me that error and also 0f00:065D.
And I have a problem with my AC Adapter, that can be the problem?
(I run the test without plugging the ac adapter)
I did everything....I don´t know what to do....and i don´t have any backup of my files, the most important issue here.
