Im having the exact same problem with the dell wireless 1390 drivers. Ive installed every other driver fine but for some reason these wont unzip. ive tried redownloading them on several different computers. Ive even tried an older version of the driver to no avail. thanks in advance.
I've got a Logitech microphone problem. Scratchy playback. I can't reply to voice over job leads until I solve this. :smileysad:
I tried to install Sigmatel STAC92XX C-Major HD Audio Driver and I keep getting error code 110.
I have windows XP, IE 6, and a Dell dimension E510.
When I try to install this update, I got a window that popped up saying:
"This self extracting zip file is part of a multi disk zip file. (Now get this part:)
Please insert the last disk of the set. LAST DISK OF THE SET?
What the heck are they talking about?
I've got a few disks from Dell. They are LABELED!!
Drivers and Utilities,
Reinstalling Dell Tools System software,
Operating System,
and Reinstalling Sonic Cine Player.
The person who designed this download, should have made this more SPECIFIC!!! Not the "last disk of the set"!!!! I tried the Drivers & Utilities disk, and STILL got error 110.
Meanwhile after consulting with the Dell tech staff, I've gotten nowhere.
They think I don't need the installation, and that it's installed and working correctly.
I still think the microphone is faulty.
Since I bought it from Dell's website, they should replace it.
I get no sound playback when the Audio and Voice recording properties are set toSigma Tel Audio. When I set it to AK5370, it plays back, but it's scratchy!
I tried to troubleshoot in the Hardwarde tab of the Sounds and Audio Devices Properties window, but it didn't get anywhere.

AK5370 is a Logitech USB Mic and has Nothing to do with Dell or Dell Hardware or Sigmatel Audio.
AK5370 Driver Solution - Logitech Forums
The Dell Audio driver is not packaged as a .ZIP file.
You are not downloading from dell.
Likely the file you have has Virus/Malware.
