Error Code 2000:0155 Hard drive not installed. Dell Vostro 2420.
I have a Dell Vostro 2420. New laptop. Suddenly It shows error message "FAIL PSA V4220 Error 2000:0155 Hard drive not installed. I removed the battery and tried rebooting, didn't work. After I ran PC diagnostics from BOOT menu, It gave me this error message. Windows 7 OS. Looks like hard disk is crashed. Any suggestions?

The error is related to the hard drive. I would suggest you to update the BIOS on the system if the system is booting up. I would suggest you to remove and reseat the hard drive on the system. In the link below punch in the system service tag or express service code and you can access the user manual for removing and reseating components.

Thank you so much. I have the manual. I will try to reseat the hard drive. If that doesn't work will update you.
