Error Code OFOO:0232 , Error Code 2000-0142

I received this error code when running a system check. We are unable to turn on the computer now at all.

 

Error Code OfOO:0232

MSG:DISK-O-Block 21100416:TIMEOUT WARNING for IRQ

 

this message was received while perorming a System test

<ADMIN NOTE:Service Tag removed per privacy policy>

SATA DISK S/N = WD-WXE 408As5313

READ TEST

Testing Block 21100476 to 625142447

since beginning this test #'s 21100476., 21100477, 21100478, ........... and so forth are coming up with the same message.

 

Any idea what this means and how we need to fix it

 

We have also received ERROR CODE : 0142

MSG:Error Code 2000-0142

Msg:Hardrive 1 Self Test Unsuccessful

Status 79

The hard drive is toast.  If you're under warranty, report  the error to Dell support and the'll send you a replacement drive.

If you're out of warranty, you can use any 2.5" 9.5 mm SATA notebook drive you wish as a replacement.

If you did not get a copy of Windows with the system, you will need one. In the US:
