ERROR message - Please help
When I try to start my computer it say:
Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM
Nothing I do seems to help. I need to get access to files on my computer.
Please help me. I do not have any XP CDs as none were shipped with my computer. I need to get access to the files on my laptop today.

for your predicament, you could try finding a friend who has an external drive case and put your hdd into it and use another pc to copy the files over.
