The "F" keys on an Inspiron 1545 are accessed by the Blue "Fn" key bottom left of the keyboard.
Pressing a function key alone will cause the white symbol to operate (i.e F5 is Brigtness Up).
Press and hold the Fn key and the required function key to get that function.
It must be the only keyboard around that works like this.....weird.
Also no hard drive or wireless LED's also a pain !!!!
