Factory Restore
Hello,
I have an Inspiron 1545 laptop which is a good few years old and has windows vista installed on it. I am trying to take it back to factory settings. However when I boot up and click F8 and go to repair it does't give me the option to reboot to factory settings.
Is there any other way of doing this. I don't have any discs,
If you can let me know will be great.

If there's no restore option with F8, the only way is to use the installation media - you'll need to contact Dell to purchase those (or you might want to consider purchasing an upgrade to Windows 7, which is generally faster than Vista with just about all hardware).
