Fastest CPU speed for C600

Question

I was just wondering what is the fasted cpu speed I can have in my C600?   I have a 750mhz Pentium 3 that runs at 600mhz when running off the battery.   Also I saw where there is a program the  latitudes that let you manage the speed of the cpu on the Dell website but it's not for XP, just 2000 and 98/Me.   Is their a program like this for XP? According my information the maximum is a 850 Mhz.   I´m not sure if you can use the program for Windows 2000 in Windows Xp, but you can maybe try? I checked and I can´t see that someone designed an update.   Good Luck!

my c-600 runs at 1.2 ghs when plugged in then runs 710mhs on battery. its p-3

NO C600 ever ran at 1.2 GHz so your info is totally misleading and WRONG. So what did you do install a C610 motherboard in a C600 case (the 2 models use basically the same case except for the screen enclosure). If that is the case then you have a C610 not a C600.
