Fn button not working
I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 and I recently had to reload my Windows 8 machine and the only thing that I can't do is disable my touchpad. I can only turn the volume up and down by pressing Fn key + Page Up, Page Dn keys. Also, the small icons that appear on the top when you use the Fn key are not showing on the screen.
Does anyone have a solution to this problem. I will really appreciate any type of help.

We do not have Windows 8 compatible drivers for Dell Inspiron 1501.
You can try to install quickset driver for Windows Vista in compatibility mode. Click the link below for the driver:
