Forced shut-down dangers?

Hi fellow forum members.I'm new to computers(just got my Inspiron 1545 last month)so please keep this in mind while responding to my questions.I've had to do a foced shut-down 3X in the last 3 wks. due to a boot -up issue-display failed to appear.I then started up in safe mode & then re-started normally each time,after which all was ok.Dell Tech Support has looked into this for me ,but except for one minor issue which may or may not be related to my boot-up problems,found nothing wrong.My question is this,am I doing any damage to my computer as a result of these forced shut -downs?
