What system? What GeForce card? You should make a habit of showing these every time you post, makes everything easier.
The reason I bring this up is that for most of the newer BIOS updates dell have provided two files, an executable that creates a set of floppies and an exectuable that flashes straight from the Hard Drive. If its an older one you might only have an option for floppies, in which case I think you can put it onto a CD and then restart, starting CD first, before Hard Drive... I think this works but not 100% (never had to do that myself, I have floppy).
Hmm yeah when I sent mine in for servicing it came back with a note of all the things they done... supposedly they did that for me. Bios flash my a$$.. liars! I really can't believe that they would say they did something when they didn't do it.. What is this? marketing? :p
Slow down there, high speed. When you say that they gave you a list of things that they had done while in for service, did it say "System BIOS" or "Video Card BIOS"? I ask because these are two different things, and it is quite normal for Dell to flash the SYSTEM BIOS for you, but they might not have touched the video BIOS....read carefully and let me know what it says?
