got my new laptop but it came with some scuffs and a scratch. what to do?
so i just got my new xps 15 laptop yesterday and noticed some small scuffs and a scratch around the plastic border that surrounds the screen. Other than these, everything else is perfect and working fine. I will be using this computer for college and understand that it will see more scratches and scuffs over the next several years. I was wondering what you would do in this situation, and if it is worth it to send it back to get a replacement, especially after i have already moved basically everything from my old computer to it before i noticed the small marks. They are very light marks and pretty much not noticeable unless you are looking for them, or i showed them to you, i just feel like when i spend that much on a new system it should come in perfect condition. but is it worth it to wait to see if they will replace it? and if they do would it be worth the wait for them to go through everything they would have to do to get me a new one? i mean, i dont really need it until august 10th. what would you do?

You've answered your own question - since you're asking, you don't like the fact that it arrived scratched. Have it replaced -- you have only 21 days from shipment to do that.
DO NOT simply have the system repaired - ask for an exchange.
