Hard-disk failure

Hello!

I own a dell inspiron n5110 and a couple of days ago i encountered a problem.A warning message appears to me saying "replace or repair your hard disk" and then they ask me to save the instruction file, when I tried to save it anywhere, another message comes saying that I can't save it to the drive with the failure !However i saved the file in my phone and i got this message: "the following information is provided to help the hardware technical support person diagnose the hard disk with errors. Disk name: WDC ; ws3200BPVT-75ZEST0 Volume :C:\'D:\

It asks me to do a backup and shut down my computer then install a new hard disk or repair this one.

!! What should I do?

Run a diagnostic - f12 at powerup.  If the system is under warranty, call Dell with the error and they'll replace the drive.  If the system is out of warranty you'll need a new 2.5", 9.5, 7 or 5 mm SATA notebook drive.

Replacing the drive on this model is not easy - if you've never taken apart a notebook, the video below will show you what is involved.

Hi anacioroaba,

As 'ejn63' said, if the hard drive needs to be replaced and if system is under warranty, please provide the service tag and name through Private Message so that I can check the replacement options.
