Hard drive error code 2000-01 42

I have an inspron15 laptop. It was not booting up, I ran a self test system check and there is a problem  with the hard drive- error code 2000-01 42. Any advice how to resolve this?

If the system is under warranty, call Dell with the error message and they'll replace the hard drive, which has failed.

If the system is out of warranty and you need a recommendation on a replacement drive, please post the full model number (i.e., Inspiron N5110, 5520, 5521, etc) and someone can offer a suggestion as to a replacement drive suited to your system, along with the replacement instructions.
