HDD indicator constantly flashing
The HDD indicator on my brand new Vostro 3460 with clean Windows 7 installation keeps constantly flashing without any particular pattern. It is somewhat annoying. Is it normal? Can it be fixed?

Hi Qrtx,
The blinking light indicates the activity on the hard-drive. The reason the light constantly blinks even though you are not using the system is because there are many processes that run in the background which requires hard-drive to be active. Therefore, the blinking light you are referring to is normal.
