HDMI not working
Since i've had this laptop in order to run video and sound out of my HDMI port All I do is plug it in, Then last week whenever I plugged it in I would have to go to the sound options and manually tell it to use my tv for sound, Now it wont even recognize my tv so sound wont come out. But video comes up without any hassle, I have run dell diagnostics a couple times, i've tried updating all drivers. I also uninstalled the drivers and let winows install the ones they wanted. Then I read on a forum that the sound would be controlled by the video card when it is HDMI So now my GeForce GT 550m will pick up my tv for video but the geforce software doesnt pick up the tv for sound. I'm at a complete loss,
Any ideas would be great

Hi Jimtjr,
Please ensure that the “High Definition Audio Controller” in the device manager is enabled. You could also uninstall the audio device from the device manager and restart the system so that Windows would pick up the driver. If this doesn’t fix the issue please try another HDMI cable and revert with the update. Also consider reinstalling the latest NVidia driver from the Dell support site.
Key in the system service tag and the appropriate operating system to download the drivers.
