Help getting device drivers??

Hi, I had to reinstall Windows 7 on my Dell Inspiron N7110
There were no device drivers on the disc containing the operating system so I cannot connect to the Internet. Advice from friends is to download the drivers on to my desktop (which is not a Dell) and then move them from there with a memory stick and install them in to my laptop.
"It's easy" , they said. Well, my experience for the past several days is that I'm going around in circles. The drivers are on the Dell website alright, but it keeps wanting to scan my computer and install them, which obviously won't help because the computer I'm accessing the site with is not the computer I want them installed on.
Can anyone help me simply get the drivers and put them on my hard drive so I can mover them over to my laptop?

It is "easy". Click on the Drivers and Download and/or "do it myself", browse to the section/driver you need and click on Download File. If prompted to use the Download Manager, don't do it.
