Help upgrading motherboard and the processor.
Hi everyone, need help picking a new motherboard. I have a dell n5110 with i3 processor, i want to upgrade the processor to i7. I know that the i3 motherboards are diffrent from the i7. I just dont know what motherboard to get. Also i know some motherboard come with the nvidia graphics but does it come with the motherboard or do i have to buy it separately. Any help would be great. Thanks

By the time you pay on the order of $250 for a board with discrete video, replace the heatsink (another $30), the power adapter (another $30-40) and the processor ($150+), you may as well buy a new system - it won't be much of a stretch of the budget. Or, if the budget is tight, you can easily buy a newer, better complete used system for less than the parts alone will cost you.
