Help w/ Increasing FPS
Hi guys!
I have a bit of a complicated question to ask today, so please bear with me. I'm going to lay down the basics of my problem: I have a Dell Inspiron 15-3521 Laptop. I want to play an FPS game called War Thunder. Those who know it know that it's a very graphics-heavy, resource-heavy game. I tried playing it on "low" settings, but my FPS only gets to around 18-20, so I have to enable "old video card support" just to play it w/o it lagging all the time. I have no designated gaming PC because I don't have the money to go out and buy one, either. MY QUESTION TO YOU IS: What do I need in order to be able to play this game at a higher graphics setting (medium at least)? Is it a processor issue? If so, do I need a new motherboard/HDD/RAM/GPU etc., and what kind? Is this even possible? I included an image from the game (image is property of its rightful owner, not me in this case.) comparing lower to higher settings, and you'll see why I want to do this. If there's no image pls let me know
Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matt,
Thanks for posting.
In looking at the system requirements for the game I found this:
Since the Inspiron 15-3521 does not come with that video card, it would appear the issue lies with the video card.
The inspiron 15 was not designed as a gaming machine, but for standard use like internet, email, and similar. So, to answer your question, you would need to purchase a computer that matches the minimum requirements of the game in order to play it effectively.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Robert
