hibernate problems with a c840

My c840 won't go into hibernation. I keep getting a keyboard error. I'm getting this message in event viewer

I don't have adobe type manager installed. I do have the adobe photoshop 7, image ready 7, reader 5, and distiller 5 installed.

 

I am using Windows 2000. I'm not sure what to do next. Can someone help me out?
