High Pitch from e6540
Hello
My e6540 suffers from high pitch problem, the high pitch is at freq. 15,08kHz - 15,12kHz.
I have noticed also that disabling C-states helps.
It is covered under warranty ? Can i call dell tech support team ?
Or it is repairable over BIOS update?
Anyone's suffers from it?

I have reinvestigated it and.... when i'm using bluetooth or wifi, such frequencies are appearing.
Therefore it is not related with C states.
When i'm not connected to wifi or bluetooth, there are not such frequencies like 15.1kHz and 8.6kHz are appeearing. It is at level of human's whisper

When i turn off Intel centrino 6235 card - this strange sound goes off.
It is sufficient problem to call dell tech support ?

FWIW Arlicc, I too hear this on many Dell laptops. You are not alone.
You went through the trouble to prove your case, yet no one from Dell acknowledge any of your posts.
