F8 boot safe mode, Choose repair my computer,  Do the factory restore.

HOWEVER THIS ERASES ALL OF YOUR DATA FILES. So they should be backed up.

HI ,

In windows 8 we don't have safe mode hence the only option is to use the disks and re-install the OS. Also check for the UEFI and legacy setting in BIOS.

Regards

  • RECOVERY
  • Your PC couldn't start properly
  • After multiple tries, the operating system on your pc failed to start, so it needs to be repaired
  • Error code: 0xc0000001
  • You'll need to use the recovery tools on your installation media. If you don't have an installation media (like a disc or USB devices), contact your system administrator or PC manufacturer.

Insert a Windows 8 DVD, or a Flash Drive with the Windows 8 installation files on it, into your computer.

You can borrow someone else's Windows 8 disc or other media if you need to.

You're not installing or reinstalling Windows 8, you're just accessing Advanced Startup Options - no product key or license breaking required.

  1. From the Windows Setup screen, tap or click on Next.
  2. Tap or click on the Repair your computer link at the bottom of the window.
  3. Advanced Startup Options will start, almost immediately.
