How to set BIOS password through WMI scripts
Hello All,
I have a situation here. I am with GE and developing automated image for GE Infrastructure in which Dell will ship the machine directly to the user. So our desktop tech guys will not be involved in machine configuration for the user.
After image is configured as a last step I have to set BIOS password. I saw that in root\DellOMCI namespace under Dell_Configuration class there is password property. But I cannot read or write to this property.
Is it because Dell_Configuration class declared dynamic and data is provided by dellwmi provider ? How do i set BIOS password through wmi script ?
Please note this is a gunuine requirement and not to circumvent any security !!!
Early reply will be highly appreciated as I have to complete and send the image to dell for factory installation.
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
