I NEED HELP, COMPUTER CRASHED!!!

Hi, I have a Dell Inspiron 1000, that I got for Christams 2 years ago.  It crashed yesterday, and comes with a blue screen talking about how it shut down to help save the computer...It will not let me get any farther, or even let me see what the problem is.  Does anybody know what to do?
 
 
*UPDATE*:  Now when I restart it, it goes to a black screen, and doesnt do anything

We will need to run Extended Dell Diagnostic test. Then you need to come back here with the result of this test. I will give you the link for complete information.

This will tell us what is the exact faulty part.

Thanx for the help, but I finally got ahold of CHAT with an assistant, and they are having me send it in because it is a hard drive error.
