For someone on this forum to provide their CD Key would violate the DellTalk Terms of Service and result in them getting kicked off, and you. 

Further, since Word 2002/XP is what's driving the need for the key, and since Microsoft makes the user activate the software, it will do you no good anyway.  MS will give you 30 days w/o activating, then reduce the functionality of Word.

In short, the only option is to buy a new package.  Checkout Office for Students and Teachers for $120 - $130.

Thanks for your reply...the key is only for installing the product...MS gives a new serial number everytime you reinstall with the key...it just verifies that it is a MS product, not a pirated copy.  I have already registered myself as a works owner.  I  sold my MS Front Page Editor 4 years later and the key still worked.   I AM DESPERATE...I need my computer for tommorrow and there is no place to buy the software tonight.   I do not want to jeprodise anybody's position in the forum so you can contact me at lconantiii@qwest.net or call me collect at 1-360-460-9581 and name your price...I need this tonight!!!

It is not restricted to Dell buyers.

The software package is not too expensive and I imagine it it something that you will be using for a long, long time. Just make that small investment.
