Inspiron 1318 Bluetooth
Hi Guys. I seem to have a problem with my notebook regarding its bluetooth device. My internal bluetooth is already enabled at the BIOS setup. But it still does not appear in my system. I originally have this bluetooth in my system before I reformatted it just now. Now after reformatting it, the bluetooth won't appear. I tried to install the bluetooth software but it just keeps on telling me to press Fn+F2 or turn the Radio On/Off. My Radio is ON. Fn+F2 does not do anything. Any help please????

I already did. I reinstalled it and still I get the same situation. I have managed to solve my problem though. I'll share this to others. I manually run the setup of the bluetooth driver extracted by the Drivers and Utility Disc. After extracting the Bluetooth driver. Go to C:\dell\drivers and find the Bluetooth driver folder. Inside it you can find Win32 folder then run its setup. By the time the setup prompts you to activate your bluetooth, just cancel and the setup will continue to install.

Did you install the Dell notebook system software and the chipset drivers?

I'm not sure if I installed the system software but I'm sure about the chipset drivers. I noticed that the bluetooth icon is displaying whenever I turn On and Off my Radio button. But still the bluetooth setup does not continue to install.

You need both the system software and chipset driver before you install any other drivers.
