Inspiron 3521
Hello,
I know the subject has already been treated many times but I found no help in the comments to solve my bluetooth problem on my Inspiron 3521. It will not detect any device..
-I turned on the wireless switch
-The device is in discoverable mode and is detected by my Iphone
-I updated the drivers and Bios through Dell site
It will not work and im a bit desperate about it cause I spent some time trying to figure out this problem. So please, support help me solve it.
Here is a screenshot of my Device manager, some warnings appear thet drivers update did not solve.

You are showing a Generic Bluetooth Adapter. Is that because there are no current drivers for the OS you are using?

No, drivers are available on Dell support. SOmeone from support told me that probably it does not have a bluetooth adapter inside. But the icon is showing. Are some Inspiron 15-3521 without bluetooth and others with ?

In device manager, please open Network Adapters and check if Dell WLAN card is present. If possible sent a screenshot of it, see image below: By the way, windows 10 is on the system?

Windows 10 is on the system? If you don't know, type msinfo32 into the search box, you should see the version of windows listed.

According to your images, it look as though you are missing one of the Bluetooth drivers from your Dell Product Support page. To be sure, look under Network adapter, right click the two Bluetooth devices and then check the versions. After, check the version in the link below to make sure one of them is the same, see image below.

All right, thank you. I checked, it says I have the 1705 version and my drivers are updated to the latest version.
It's a big mess. I really dont understand why it's not working. Maybe I'll try to uninstal all drivers and try a clean setup again.

I deleted all drivers and installed them again, except it says "turn the bluetooth switch on or cancel the installation" But the switch to wireless is on ! Drives me mad : )

You can also verified Bluetooth is turned on in the bios:
1. Power off system
2. Power on system, quickly start tapping F2 key continuous. You should be in the BIOS setup.
For example;
