Inspiron 510m Caps Lock Flash Code
Hello
My 510m is failing to boot up at all, and I've noted the caps lock LED flashes 9 times and then nothing. I've tried to find out what this code means but have come to a dead end. Can anyone offer me any advice on this? Knowing my luck it's problems with the motherboard...
The battery has been losing effectiveness for some time, but I assume it's not this as I have it plugged in to the mains supply.

Reseat the memory module(s) - remove an reinstall. Still nothing? Remove the battery. Will it power up without the battery? If yes, the battery needs to be replaced. If not, verify that the LED on the AC adapter is ON before you plug in the notebook end. If it's not, replace the adapter with a new one.
Still nothing? Bad mainboard.

I reseated the memory modules (which were thankfully easy to get to) blew dust from the compartment and it worked! Thanks for the advice.
