I doubt that the internal cable came loose. Getting to the touch cable means a complete LCD panel disassembly. Did you try deleting those hidden references, then restarting to see what New Hardware Windows found?
Update, I did a full reset and the screen still isn't working. Could you send me the full link to the hardware article? The one I have seen doesn't go beyond the LCD removal from the base.

You think If I delete the hidden Code 45 Reff's then it might work after I restart?

I tried it out and it did not work. Are there any other suggestions?

Would checking the cable be the same process as detailed in this?

Then you are looking at opening up and checking the cable.Or sending it back to Dell for repair.

Where about would that be specifically?
Also, would it be worth resetting my computer?

I thought you said earlier that an OS reset was not possible? Based on the pictures, it is a complete LCD teardown =

A restore is not doable, since i have no restore points. I am going to retry an OS reset though.
If the reset doesnt work I will take it apart.
Hopefully that will work.

Can I assume it is a hardware issue now?

No. All you have access to is the Service Manual. You will need to search for a teardown on youtube.
