I bought my computer two weeks ago, and I am having the same problem with the adapter. My computer isn't charging. Who do you talk to, to get another one?
Since an adapter costs $35 or so, while a mainboard will run $300 or more, I'd try the adapter first. If the mainboard is bad, and you must have battery support, you may rightly question the economics of replacing a board on a system this old, though.

Try a new adapter - if that doesn't solve the problem, then you have a faulty mainboard.

If it is only two weeks old, you have two options:
Return the system for replacement, or
Call for support/repair.
Either way, call.
