Inspiron e1405 memory purchase question

Hi guys, I have a e1405 and it turns out that one of my RAM sticks is dead so I will buy a new one and I wanted to see if anyone can tell me this would be compatible with my laptop. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8015113&type=product&id=1156203598309 My laptop is 1.60Ghz and this memory card says this 1GB DDR2 5300 NB Compatible with 400MHz, 533MHz and 667MHz notebooks; operates at 667MHz; 200-pin DDR2 So, I just wanted to make sure that it would work on mine, the picture of the product just looks like mine but don't want to purchase if it won't work and more importantly, I was planning on buying 2 and replacing the other 512kb I have also. Can these laptops handle 2GB of memory? Thanks in advance, Dogan

Yes, you can use 2G RAM. For compatibility information, no one but the vendor can say.

Here is the best thing you could do. They Warranty their memory to work 100% and they also have very good prices.

Here is what they show for your 1405: 2 GB kit for $101.99
