Inspiron E1705 Audio Question.

Hey folks, i installed windowsxp pro on my inspiron e1705 got it about 3 weeks ago, came with vista premium, anyways i got all drivers setup and what not, but when i go install the Sound Blaster Audigy software its telling me the activation key i provided has expired, this is the Audigy advanced MB software , any ideas? should i contact creative or dell about this situtation im having here? help would be appeciated.

I don't believe that dell can assist with that, I would try contacting creative first.

Hi,
 
Did the sound card come from dell or was purchased seperately. If it was bought from dell u can contact them and if not from dell, then i guess u have to contact the Creative.

The sound card came with the laptop, and i already contacted Creative and am waiting for them to reply back to the email with a new activation code, been 3 days and still waiting, im sure i will get it from them soon...

Now that you have contacted Creative, then it may take nearly 5-6 working days. But incase if you dont receive then please do contact them once again.
