installing OS on SSD

Hello, I'm Korean.

I bought a Laptop in USA. >> Inspiron (i17RM-5164sLV)

And I bought one SSD. >> Samsung 840 evo 250GB

I want install OS on SSD.

And SSD wants Window's serial number. But I can't find the serial number. So I inquired Korea service center about it. Korea service center sent me an image file, telling me to copy it in DVD-ROM,  and it will be solved. But it wasn't suitable, because the laptop that I bought in USA, not in Korea.

So I want an image file from USA. How do I download the image file?

Or is other method that I install OS on SSD?

Hi nnrn,

If the computer came with Windows 8 or 8.1 operating system you will not be prompted for the product key if you are trying to install it from the OEM operating system disc.

We do not have download link for the operating system image.

We can ship it your USA address if you are the registered owner of the computer then you will need arrange the shipping of the disc from your USA address to the Korean address.

Also, please let us know the country your located (North Korea or South Korea)
