Intel PROSet/Wireless driver problem

I have a Dell Inspiron B130 laptop and just recently had to replace a faulty harddrive, which meant reinstalling everything from scratch.

I used Dell's driver download website to reinstall all the basic drivers my system needed but either one for my wireless card is missing or outdated, or I just don't know what I'm doing wrong because my wireless card will not work outside of my home. I installed the Intel PROSet/Wireless software to monitor wireless networks but it consistently tells me that I have not installed the necessary drivers (even though I have repeatedly).

I've followed all the software's troubleshooting guides to no avail and still keep getting this message: "No wireless network adapter driver was detected in the system", which is puzzling to me because I am on the Internet now at home, but am not able to connect elsewhere.

I would greatly appreciate any help!

Are you sure you have an Intel wireless adapter and not a Dell wireless adapter?  The Intel ProSet software will not work with a Dell wireless network adapter.
