Internal Fan not Working, Solution?

Hello,

I have a Dell Inspiron 1200 laptop with Windows XP, bought from dell.ca

but i am currently living out of the country. The fan inside the laptop has stopped

moving, and as a result the laptop is overheating. The technician said that the replacement

fan is not carried here and he suggested I use a laptop cooling pad.

My question is, will this cooling pad sufficiently cool my laptop to perorm normal

operations even though the internal fan does not work?

Thanks.

if you don't do any intensive stuff then you could probably get away with it.
for more intensive stuff you will definitely need the fan working.

This ebay dealer ships worldwide, The 1200 and 2200 use the same board so this will fit on either.
