Internal Modem for Laptops

Question

Are there any Laptops that have an internal modem or that could accommadate one as an option? I have a Dell Inspiron 9300 and I usually just connect wired as oppose to wireless, so I would like to eliminate the external modem and all the associated cords. I know I could get a Desktop with an internal modem, but I like the compactness and portability of a Laptop.

I have Verizon DSL. They gave me a the modem. With Verizon DSL, you either need an Ethernet port or USB2. It's easier when using Ethernet port. Your laptop should have a builtin Ethernet port.

You cant have an internal DSL modem.  your laptop does have an ethernet port for broadband and also should have an internal wireless card as well. I have a 9300 as well and mine does.  You can use either one of these to connect to your DSL modem.  You can use the wireless to connect anywhere there is wifi access as well.
