is there....

is there a 512mb ram for dell latitude cpx series because slot b doesnt work but a is good...and is there anyway to fix it without replacing it

No, there won't be any 512M modules for this model - it requires low density RAM and will not work with 512M modules.

80$ for 256mb...and is there anyway to fix the slot b without replacing it?

It may be possible to have a surface mount rework shop replace just the socket, but it'll cost $150+ just for the labor - probably not worth it for an older system. Look for a used mainboard.

Try a roll of paper between the RAM Door and the Module to press down on it. It has worked before on some machines and it is free.

150 =/...will i see a difference if i change it to 256? cauz 128 on a win xp pro is slow as

256m will make a definite difference, especially if you increase the size of your Page File/Virtual Memory

tryed the roll of paper and worked for 2 weeks but i ran memtest86 and got 28537 errors
