Is This Possible?

I have the Inspiron 6000, which has the 7 keys for multimedia in the front of the system.  Right now, and how they came with the computer, they are linked to Windows Media Player.  So if i was using WMP, i could push the "next" button and it would go to my next song.  This is all fine and good, but I don't like using WMP.  Is there anyway to "link" those buttons onto another media player?

thanks for all the help.

That plugin has been succeeded by winamp 5 global hotkeys.  I am not having a problem getting the keys to work ( ie, next song, volume, etc )

the problem is that apparently when you press and hold down the play/pause button it will run the dell media experience.  Apparently it is possible to not install the dell media center and allow winamp to run when pressing and holding the play/pause button.

Thanks for the help still though,
Let me know if you know of any solutions.

Thanks,
Chris.
