keyboard & beeps
I have a 8600 inspiron 2.0 512 ram win xp home that I've just replace the keyboard and the "a" & "s" are not working. The Keyboard I was replacing the same key didn't work. Any suggestions?
Now the laptop beeps (8 , I think, to fast to count) then window loads up and I can use the laptop. What's with the beeps?

Hi Jim,
It seems that the keys are stuck on the keyboard. Please check the keyboard by pressing each key. I would suggest you to reseat the keyboard of the computer and check it that makes any difference. Here is the link for the service manual http://bit.ly/VJOWpH
