keyboard driver issue after installing windows 8
i recently upgraded my dell inspiron 15r from windows7 to windows8. the keyboard of my laptop is not working properly. keys ' @ ' and ' " ' have been interchanged. this happens even if i use an external keyboard. there are no keyboard driver upgrades available. please help

keyboard drivers are native to Windows OS. Ensure you are using the correct keyboard settings for your location

the problem still persists. i tried changing my location to US.
