Keyboard key

I have an Inspiron 2650. I'm having trouble with my 'D' key. It just took me several times to hit the key to get it to type. This is the only key that is not working properly. It is ocassional. I can get it to type but it may take several times and then sometimes it will be ok but it is becoming quite a problem. Can anyone help me with this?
