Keyboard Lock

Question

My dell laptop 15 3542 keyboard is locked. When i update a bios then shows a messsage your keyboard is locked. Any key is not working I am use a external keyboard. Plz tell me solution

I try this method but result still same any key not working Please tell another solution My laptop under warranty

Hi zahid13,

I’d advise that you load defaults in the BIOS and check for issue resolution. Please follow the steps mentioned below to load the BIOS to defaults.

Reboot the computer.
When prompted during POST, press the key to enter the setup screen.
On the System Setup screen, press the key.
Press the key on Yes to Load Optimized Defaults and restart the computer.

Hi zahid13, Please reply us with the snapshot of the error you receive when you try to use the internal keyboard and also when you try to update the BIOS on the computer.
