Laptop battery
Hi, I know this has to be a common problem but it's driving me crazy. My studio 1737 battery wont charge. I have tried a different charger. Replaced the circut board and still plugged in not charging. Can someone bail me out here ??

Is it a genuine Dell battery?

Yes. Original one. Only 2 yr old. I use the computer plugged in most of the time but only have 38% battery left now. When this problem started I was in the 90's but it's fading due to not charging.

Does the BIOS (F2 at powerup) correctly sense the power adapter or is it listed as "unknown"?

If you've already replaced the adapter and charger/power socket board, it's time for a replacement system board.

Yes, if you've already replaced the other parts -- that's the only one left.
